Miranda Rights

I was losing hope for the Obama administration when I heard they was trying to make a "compromise" on the issue of "Mirandaizing" terrorists, by using an existing but infrequently used "safety" loophole. Then I came across this Republican who says: why do we all have to lose our rights because of the terrorists? The dialectic at play?
