I've arrived in Germany for my postdoc in Global Justice at the University of Frankfurt. My favorite part so far is the street signs. Everywhere, there are signs that say: cross the street on green... for the children. I'm told other signs include: rational people don't ride bikes here, and it is forbidden for everyone else.
